Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing the PeninsuLawyers client portal (“Portal”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal.

2. Service nature

The Portal is a secure communication tool between you and your PeninsuLawyers legal team. It does not constitute automated legal advice and does not replace the professional relationship governed by your engagement letter.

3. Attorney-client privilege

All information, communications and documents exchanged via the Portal are protected by attorney-client privilege under applicable Mexican law.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe Inc. By confirming a payment you authorize the charge to the selected card. Paid invoices are non-refundable except for billing errors or as provided in your engagement letter.

We use reasonable efforts to keep the Portal available but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may suspend service for maintenance.

7. Liability

Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence, PeninsuLawyers is not liable for indirect damages arising from Portal use.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access upon conclusion of the professional relationship or for misuse. Your data will be retained as required by applicable law.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mérida, Yucatán.
